Designed for Level 1 Graduates and dancers with some prior Latin Dance experience, Foundations Plus is the core heart of Bayside Latin Dance. This is where we bridge the gap between basic steps and true dancefloor freedom.

Every Tuesday at 7:15pm, we dive into a high-value, high-energy 60-minute session designed to refine your technique, build fluid turn combinations, and develop an effortless lead-follow connection.

• Fluid Combinations: Connect basic footwork seamlessly with direction changes and turn patterns.

• Lead & Follow Frame: Learn to communicate moves clearly without pulling, guessing, or forcing.

• The Full Latin Toolkit: Explore the rich flavours of social Salsa (Linear & Cuban), Bachata (Traditional & Modern), and Rueda de Casino.

• Musicality & Timing: Lock into the rhythm so you stay on beat even when patterns get dynamic.

• Relaxed Floor Practice: Dedicated social practice time during class to try out new moves in a safe, zero-pressure space.

🔄 How It Works: Monthly Mastery Themes

Level 2 is an ongoing class - you can stay as long as you like to build muscle memory and expand your social toolkit.

To ensure deep learning and genuine progress, our curriculum follows a Monthly Mastery Theme. Every 4 weeks, we focus on specific technical skills, turn dynamics, or Latin styles so you move from overthinking to pure muscle memory.
